Ortoma has signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg.
Orthopaedic surgeons from Sahlgrenska University Hospital will act as medical and clinical advisors to Ortoma and inform the development of Ortoma’s integrated system for planning and performing operations, Ortoma Treatment Solution ™ (OTS).
Ortoma intends to conduct clinical trials of its measurement and navigation system, Ortoma Guide ™, in collaboration with orthopaedic surgeons at the hospital.
Ortoma has also signed a license agreement with the hospital for the ongoing evaluation of the planning and measurement systems the company is currently developing, Ortoma Plan ™ and Ortoma Guide ™.
