Chairman of the Board
Dr. Gunnar Németh is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds an MBA from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He is Vice Chairman of the Board at Capio Group, Member of the Board at Animal Hospital Group, Independent Director and Member of the Board at Swedish Hospital Partners (Skanska’s SPV, building New Karolinska Hospital) and Chairman of the Board at Scandinavian Robotic Surgery Group.
Prof. Tommy Hansson
Board member and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Hansson is Professor emeritus in Orthopedics at the University of Gothenburg. Dr. Hansson is internationally renowned for his contribution in spine surgery and biomechanics and has published almost 200 articles in international peer reviewed medical journals and 30 books.
Elisabeth Liljensten, PhD, DDS
Dr Elisabeth Liljensten owns and is the CEO of Devicia AB, a medical device consultancy firm in Clinical & Medical Affairs. Dr Liljensten has held several executive positions in Clinical & Medical Affairs in listed and unlisted Medtech companies. She is a Licensed Dentist and holds a PhD in Biomaterials Research from Göteborg University.
Roy Forslund is the main owner of Infotech i Väst AB, which conducts active development of technology-intensive company with great potential in the market from an ownership perspective. Forslund has a long experience in the development of companies that operate in industries where innovative business models and new technologies can help to influence the businesses to achieve great success. His greatest strengths are in business understanding and the ability to see the linkages and synergies, difficult to detect and often valuable.
Dr. Matts Andersson
Board member (Senior Advisor)
Dr. Matts Andersson is the innovator and founder of Ortoma, Chief Technical Officer in the company. Dr. Andersson is well known and acknowledged for his achievements in dentistry as innovator of the Procera system, a world leading trade mark and business at Nobel Biocare. He is also Adj. Professor at Chalmers University of Technology. Andersson is a Board Member of Ortoma AB.
CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Linus Byström is the CEO of the company and an independent Intellectual Property consultant, authorized Swedish and European Patent Attorney, and holds a European Patent Litigation diploma in addition to a MSc in Electrical Engineering with Industrial Economy. Experience include patent prosecution, patent litigation, intellectual property (IP) due diligence, IP portfolio management, and IP strategy. Previous assignments include Ström & Gulliksson and Nobel Biocare.
Dr. Andreas Pettersson
Ph.D. in Medical Science, Manager Product Development & Customer Support
Dr. Andreas Pettersson has an extensive background from the development of guided surgery through his previous assignment as a Medical Imaging Manager, at Nobel Biocare. Dr. Pettersson obtained his Doctor degree in Medical Science at Karolinska Institutet 2011, and has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles about the accuracy of 3D virtually planned implants and guided surgery.

Tommy Hansson, professor at the institution of clinical sciences, department of orthopedics, the Sahlgrenska Academy and Göteborg University. Prof. Hansson is acting as Chief Medical Officer at Ortoma. Se also under “Board” for more information.
Dr. Andreas Wolfgang
Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Dr. Andreas Wolfgang has obtained a Dipl. Ing. degree from the Technical University of Karlsruhe and a Tech. Dr. (Ph.D.) degree from University of Southampton. Dr. Wolfgang has been active as a researcher (postdoctoral) at Chalmers University of Technology and has over 50 published articles (peer-reviewed) internationally. Dr. Wolfgang has several years of experience from development work and as system responsible for larger development projects with focus on signal processing for communications- and radar systems and medical technology. Dr. Wolfgang has the role as the CTO at Qamcom. Dr. Wolfgang will act as the CTO during a period for Ortoma in parallel with the commitments within Qamcom.
